Anna Mowbray

Anna Mowbray is the Co-founder of ZURU, the NZ Entrepreneur of the year winner and COO of ZURU toys, the 8^th biggest privately owned toy company in the world. ZURU is known for its agility, innovation, industry disruption, leadership in automated toy manufacturing and family culture and now diversifying into the FMCG sector with brands such as Rascal + Friends, NOOD Pet Food, MONDAY Haircare and Health by Habit. Anna sits at the helm of ZURU and is the backbone of the organization overseeing all HR, operations, marketing, distribution, new product development, investments, and financials.

Anna is he youngest woman currently running a major global toy company, and earlier this year she was named the 2020 Wonder Woman in Manufacturing by Women In Toys, Licensing & Entertainment. Her achievements include growing ZURU with her two siblings from its inception 14 years ago to a $600M+ business today, all while raising three kids under the age of 8 and living in Asia.

She leads a team of over 3,500 direct employees and over 10,000 indirect employees, at 18 offices worldwide, championing a two-thirds female workforce. With a  passion for supporting women from impoverished environments, through the My First Job Program, she is dedicated to leaving a positive impact on our planet.

Committed to leading and changing the way toys are made; Anna oversaw the transition to automated manufacturing of the world’s top selling toy Bunch O Balloons and #2 Brand in Blaster X-shot. With many Toy of the Year accolades and numerous industry awards to its name, Zuru is a powerhouse in toys.
