CHINA IN THE PACIFIC: AN ART AND CULTURAL SYMPOSIUM
Next in the series of exhibitions and discussions at Te Papa that explores ideas around culture and history is the “China in the Pacific: an art and cultural symposium”, a gathering of curators, artists and academics at Te Papa, who will share insights into the impact of China on the history and arts of the Pacific Region.
Experts from New Zealand, China, Australia and the Pacific Islands will come together for the symposium from 3 July 2014 to 5 July 2014. This event is sponsored by New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO, Asia New Zealand Foundation, and the Confucius Institute of Victoria University of Wellington.
