Paul Chin

Paul has a background in corporate governance, general management, project management, and technical experience across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. As the technical director and co-owner of his own company he offers experience in engineering, road pavement materials, and project delivery across New Zealand and Australia. He has worked in multinational firms, public entities and his own private road construction company.

Beyond these activities, Paul is involved in community leadership, serving as the National President of the New Zealand Chinese Association and President of the Waikato Chinese Association. His roles also extend to a past trustee and chair of the Chinese Poll Tax Heritage Trust.

As a self-confessed science nerd with an interest in business, Paul enjoys a technical challenge, especially  if there is innovation involved and a benefit to the wider public. His personal interests include most outdoor activities which will fuel his natural dopamine addiction.
