F&B supply chain “virtual study tour to Shanghai/China”
North Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence is pleased to be working with Globalink Internships to offer a virtual study tour to Shanghai.
This programme provides a digital alternative to a physical study tour and allows tertiary students and young professionals to engage directly with in-market experts and businesses based in Shanghai to learn more about supply-chains in the Food and Beverage sector.
This programme will take place over three weeks from 7 Sept – 23 Sept, requiring approximately 5hours a week. Sessions will be held in the afternoons. There will also be an orientation in Auckland prior to the virtual study tour, which will form part of the first session. Additional networking opportunities for the participants may emerge after the tour takes place.
The sessions will cover a range of activities, supermarket tours, introductions to key knowledge holders and potential collaborators. Companies and organisations presenting as panellists include, Zespri, Primary Collaboration NZ (Shanghai), Fonterra, KONO, Alibaba, Smart Foods, Fiordland Lobster, China Skinny, Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and NZTE.
