Lunch with Hon James Shaw

BusinessNZ and the NZ China Council, together with ANZ and Waste Management, invite you to an address and panel discussion with the Minister for Climate Change and Greens Co-Leader Hon James Shaw, on Climate Change and Environmental Cooperation with China.

Minister Shaw visited China last year and this was followed by the signing of a co-operation programme during the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Beijing. The Minister will outline how, by working together, New Zealand and China can lead in addressing the challenges of climate change in both countries. The panel to follow will focus on the business opportunities that can flow from this co-operation.

Hon James Shaw is Co-Leader of the Green Party. Prior to becoming an MP, the Minister had a successful career in management consulting, primarily in London, where he lived from 1998 to 2010. James worked with large, multinational companies across Europe and around the world, helping them develop more sustainable business practices.
