NZ China Council member appointment – Mahara Inglis

The New Zealand China Council welcomes the CEO of MitoQ Mahara Inglis as a new member.

Mahara has led health and wellbeing supplements company MitoQ since 2020.  The company is an award-winning pioneer in cellular health for healthy aging and longevity.  It exports globally, with a strong market focus on China since 2016.  MitoQ has built successful cross border e-commerce channels into the Chinese market, supported by an in-country team.

Prior to joining MitoQ, Mahara ran the probiotic and ventures units at Fonterra, and was a consultant at McKinsey & Company.  Earlier in his career he held roles across government, industry and not-for-profit.  Mahara has whakapapa to Nga Rauru Kitahi, Ngati Ruanui, and Ngaruahinerangi in South Taranaki.  He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley – Haas School of Business, where he was a Fulbright Scholar, and undergraduate degrees from Victoria University of Wellington.
