NZ China Council Seeks Next Generation Members

April 24, 2020

CALLING FOR APPLICATIONS
To become a NZ China Council Next Generation Member

The NZ China Council is a New Zealand led and New Zealand funded organisation. It acts as a cross-sector, peak body for the New Zealand-China relationship.

Our relationship with China is of critical importance; and how we manage the relationship in an increasingly complex world is a key policy issue for both the Government and stakeholders across the economy and society.

The Council has refreshed its governance and structure recently to position the organisation to enhance its delivery and to build on its established profile as credible and influential voice in the relationship.

As part of this process the Council will diversify its membership, including offering two positions for next generation young leaders. These are voluntary positions (commencing 1 July 2020) and will rotate every two years.  Next Generation members will participate in two Council meetings per year, as well as assisting with Council initiatives.

If you believe you could make an active contribution to the Council

we would love to hear from you!

Please send a cover letter and CV, along with a short essay (no more than 800 words) setting out your views on the main challenges facing the NZ-China relationship, and how these should be addressed to info@nzchinacouncil.org.nz by Monday 18 May.
