Global China Connection’s Relaunch Event 2018

The New Zealand China Council is proud to sponsor a number of organisations and initiatives which encourage deeper connections with China.  One of these is Global China Connection, which provides a forum for university students and young professionals in China, New Zealand and other countries to establish friendships and grow their skills.

As part of its 2018 relaunch, Global China Connection held a China Talks event, focussing on New Zealand’s growing economic relationship with China, and touching on the political and cultural aspects of this relationship.

Diplomat, writer and entrepreneurGraci Kim Cribbens spoke at the event, sharing her insights, experiences and understanding of working in China and beyond.  It was a valuable opportunity for students to hear from somebody with first-hand experience as a diplomat for New Zealand.

The talk was followed by a Q+A session from the audience and had an opportunity for networking.
