Watch: 90 years since Rewi Alley arrived in China

Rewi Alley is one of the most renowned foreigners to have lived in China, named as one of the country’s top ten international friends.  This video commemorates the 90th anniversary of Alley’s arrival in Shanghai and explores his life and work in China as a social reformer, activist, educator, writer and poet.  Alley’s legacy has helped to shape the excellent relationship that New Zealand and China enjoy today.
