President Xi meets NZ China Council

The New Zealand China Council Executive Board met with President Xi to talk about the NZ/China relationship. Prime Minister John Key tweeted the meeting afterwards, newstalk ZB Mike Hosking also interviewed Sir Don McKinnon.

President Xi’s visit has brought great publicity for New Zealand to the Chinese audience. New Zealand China Council board members have been interviewed by several Chinese news agencies, including CCTV and Xinhua news. The relationship between the two countries has strengthened greatly.
