NZCC HOSTING ASST MINISTER ZHENG ZEGUAN

Over the weekend, Asst Minister Zheng Zeguan was hosted by the New Zealand China Council at Villa Maria. The Assistant Minister was in New Zealand for bilateral discussions and before returning to China, he met with the Chair of the New Zealand China Council Sir Don McKinnon and several members of the Council. The exchanges we were positive and centred around ways in which New Zealand and China could expand engagement and deepen understanding. The Assistant Minister was accompanied by the Chinese Ambassador Wang Lutong and Consul General Niu Qingbao.
