Nathalie Reid

Nathalie is a Chinese-speaking corporate solicitor at a leading New Zealand law firm, working in the areas of public, regulatory and international trade law.  She graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with degrees in Law, Public Policy and Chinese.

Nathalie’s experience with China began when she attended local elementary schools in Hunan and Fujian Provinces where her mother was an English teacher. Nathalie developed near-native levels of Mandarin which she still retains. She also represented Victoria University at the Chinese Bridge competition in Hunan Province and was awarded the First Class Prize out of competitors from more 60 countries.

Nathalie was also a recipient of the Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia and is a member of the Asia New Zealand Foundation’s Leadership Network.
