Dr Heida Donegan

Heida is an experienced corporate & commercial lawyer, barrister, leader and credentialled mediator, bringing both multi-jurisdictional legal expertise and language to the table.

She specialises in overseas investment negotiations and cross-border transactions, corporate legal advisory both contentious and non-contentious, mediation, and corporate governance.

Working in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and New Zealand for almost 30 years, Heida has been a partner in international law firms in New Zealand, Shanghai and Hong Kong, operating at a leadership level with all types of clients across the globe ranging from start-up businesses to world leading multinational entities to develop and progress strategies, lead negotiations, settle investment projects, and resolve complex disputes.

Heida holds a PhD in Law (specialisation: corporate law & governance) from the University of Auckland and practices as a barrister and mediator at Princes Chambers.
